As part of my series honoring a few remarkable young leaders I’ve had the privilege of watching grow, today I’m proud to spotlight Alexandra Wechser. A UCLA graduate and powerhouse in every sense of the word.
Alexandra doesn’t just walk into a room. She arrives. Whether it was on the basketball court or in the classroom, she consistently showed up with focus, grit, and purpose. Watching her play basketball was never just about the scoreboard. It was about witnessing a young woman fully in her power, unafraid to take up space, and leading by example. She owned the court and moved with clarity and confidence. That same drive, resilience, and unwavering sense of self will carry her into whatever arena she chooses next.
Alexandra graduated from UCLA with a degree in Political Science, concentrating in International Relations, and earned Phi Beta Kappa honors. Now, she’s heading to Manhattan to begin her next chapter as a paralegal at the District Attorney’s Office, all while continuing on her path toward law school.
She’s charging forward. And trust me: anyone in her path will know it. Look out New York City.
To any team, organization, or mission-driven effort: Alexandra is the kind of talent you don’t coach into. It’s inherent. She shows up. She owns her voice. She leads.
Alexandra, I’ll be forever in your corner, cheering you on as you rise. And rise you will.
